2nd Line Support Engineer

Are you a 2nd line Support Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity?

IntaPeople are working with a leading Technology company looking to grow their team with an experienced 2nd line Support Engineer on a permanent basis. As a 2nd line Support Engineer, you will act as the primary point of contact for any assigned tickets, supporting the 1st line Engineers as well as dealing with any technical issues.

About the role...

  • Working in a team ensuring all tickets are resolved, ensuring all SLAs are met.
  • Supporting the customer, handling client calls and managing tickets from the second line issue board.
  • Picking up tickets from the second line issue board and managing the ticket through to closure.
  • Acting as primary point of contact for your assigned tickets raised.
  • Providing high standard communication to clients.
  • Handle any escalated issues and report those to the Service Desk Manager.
  • Exposed to topics such as business continuity, servers, network structure, desktop and others.

About you...

  • Advanced Windows desktop support.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and SLAs.
  • Previous experience troubleshooting.
  • Virtualisation – Vmware and HyperV.
  • Experience troubleshooting connectivity issues including Firewalls, VPN, WAN & WIFI.
  • Previous experience using a ticketing system, ideally Service Now.
  • Excellent communication skills.
