IntaPeople are proud and excited to be appointed to recruit a Snr Solutions Architect for a Welsh-based not-for-profit sector organisation on an exclusive venture. This is a very exciting opportunity to join their fast-growing IT team in this newly created position. The Solution Architect will have the opportunity to shape the role around their strengths whilst supporting the cross-platform digital estate. Connecting through modern integration practices you will have access to the right suite of tools to communicate effectively with their key users.
This role is open to Junior-Mid level candidates who have any relevant experience within this role/sector.
Knowledge and Skills (not limited to):
- Experience designing scalable digital designs and patterns
- Experience working across multiple projects
- Basic Understanding architecture modeling tools and frameworks (TOGAF, UML etc)
- Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as Azure would be highly desirable
- A basic understanding of security principles and policies
- Ability to work with stakeholders and end users when needed
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Work within the IT Architecture team to deliver the architecture design of new and existing technology platforms by defining solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders via meetings and workshops to understand business plans and strategies to ensure the architecture for the digital solutions landscape enables improvements in business performance and delivers customer satisfaction
- Assess and review existing solutions against their defined principles and design patterns to ensure that the existing solutions are fit for purpose and have the capabilities we need to fulfill our strategic goals.
- Produce technical integration designs and accompanying architectural models using the appropriate business tooling to ensure adherence to the core IT strategy and design principles - documenting transitional state and to-be architectures for both the replacement of existing systems and the introduction of greenfield systems.
- Provide technical assistance in the creation of RFI/RFPs by translating business requirements into desired outline solution diagrams and be a part of the assessment panel in processing
Reporting to the Principal Architect and working closely with the Head of IT Architecture you will really get the opportunity to contribute to the modernisation and automation of future of their services.
