Project Leader Automation

My client in Southern Luxembourg are looking for a Project Leader from an Automation background to join their team on a permanent basis and oversee multiple ongoing automation projects.

Almost entirely onsite (remote by exception)

SKILLS:

• Background as Automation Engineer
• Project Management skills
• Experience managing projects around €800K - €1m 
• Heavy industry experience 
• French
• English

DAY TO DAY

• Manage projects on the different sites mentioned
• Challenging suppliers and engineers on proposals so have to understand automation
• Manage upwards to senior stakeholders and upper management
• Identify and implement technical projects in collaboration with other departments.
• Draw up specifications.
• Draw up and monitor schedules and budgets.
• Oversee the production of documentation (electrical diagrams, functional analyses, organisational analyses, training materials, maintenance plans, spare parts lists, etc.).
• Manage teams (in-house or external) within the context of projects.
• Train staff and draft the relevant documentation.
• Carry out or participate in safety audits.
• Organise and monitor construction sites, including the preparation of all related documentation (work orders, risk prevention plans, etc.).
• Coordinate and supervise the work of external engineering firms for electrical and automation deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements
