Team Lead Automation Maintenance

My client in Southern Luxembourg are looking for a Team Lead in Automation Maintenance to look after 2 of their maintenance teams.

This is a fully onsite position. French language is absolutely imperative.

SKILLS:

Mandatory:

• Experienced Automation Engineer
• Experience managing people (will be leading team of 6 technicians)
• French
• English
• Heavy Industry

Beneficial:

• Schneider PLCs
• Electrical experience

DAY TO DAY:

• Manage automation maintenance teams to work on small automation projects
• Smaller team so some coding work
• Lead small automation projects: draft specs, carry out functional analysis, development and supplier monitoring
• Programme and maintain PLCs (primarily Schneider Electric, as well as Siemens and Pilz)
• Develop and maintain HMI interfaces (Schneider Electric, AVEVA)
• Provide expert support to maintenance teams during troubleshooting
• Contribute to improving the reliability of installations (root cause analysis, the 5 Whys method, RCM, etc.)
• On-site testing, commissioning and validation
• Chair technical meetings and coordinate projects with various stakeholders
