Pricing Analyst

As a Pricing Analyst, you will be working within the Product & Underwriting department, overseeing and developing the primary insurance function. This entails developing products and maintaining insurer partnerships to make sure they are successful, well-run, and long-lasting. The 3 key areas covered by the department are partnerships, product development and underwriting.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the Commercial department to achieve financial objectives through turning leads into customers and converting requirements into proposals.
- Help implement underwriting strategy for each of the products, which aims to boost sales while maintaining underwriting profitability.
- In a timely manner, evaluate and elevate non-standard underwriting proposals as needed.
- Verify and carry out product revenue forecasts.
- Analyse prices to assist P&U and the overall business.
- Create and improve internal and external pricing reporting systems.
- Develop and implement technical and operational methods to improve effectiveness.
Skills/Experience Required:
- 1+ year of experience
- Mathematical thinking and analytical problem-solving
- Data interrogation and analysis
- Ability to effectively deliver and explain data-driven proposals to important stakeholders
- Microsoft Office
