Job description

This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact Operations Manager role where you won’t just maintain operations, you’ll build, shape and transform them.

With strong business growth and investment underway, you’ll play a key role in defining how the operation evolves, working directly with senior leadership to bring fresh thinking, practical solutions and meaningful change.

From day one, you’ll have the autonomy and backing to make a real difference across production, systems, and people.

The role:
You’ll take overall responsibility for day-to-day operations, ensuring the business runs smoothly while constantly looking for ways to improve.

Key areas include:

  • Leading Production, Manufacturing, Stores, Purchasing and Quality
  • Driving operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Developing KPIs, reporting frameworks and performance insights
  • Enhancing ERP usage to support planning and decision-making
  • Supporting expansion projects and operational scalability
  • Managing budgets, resources, and cross-functional collaboration

 

Experience/skills:

This role would suit someone who:

  • Has experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Brings a practical, common-sense approach to problem solving
  • Enjoys building structure, improving processes and implementing change
  • Is a hands-on leader who can engage teams and bring people with them
  • Is comfortable working in a growing, evolving business rather than a heavily regulated, rigid environment
  • Has strong analytical skills and a passion for using data to drive decisions
