Intapeople are working with a leading manufacturing company based in Cardiff who are seeking an IT Provider Manager. Our client is a global market leader with strong values and a great culture. The role involves managing the local ERP/PLM systems, overseeing subcontracted projects and end user support. You will be the main point of contact for local issues relating to the provider and work with colleagues to improve system efficiency.

About you..

• You will be an effective communicator who can successfully liaise with users to understand requirements for the provider whilst creating solutions by collaborating with our global tech departments.
• Ability to think outside the box, using excellent problem-solving skills.
• You will have a wide range of IT skills allowing you to ensure effective running of day-to-day operations and providing end user support.
• Be performance driven and have strong project management skills.
• Ability to use own initiative to improve internal systems and knowledge to implement effective upgrades.
• Be willing to work outside of contracted hours on rare occasions.
• Have a keen interest in developing new skills and latest technologies that would be suitable for the business development.

Experience required..

• Degree in computer science or related field and relevant experience
• Experience with ERP (Oracle or SAP)
• Microsoft 365
• Manufacturing experience is desired
