Intapeople are teamed up with a rapidly evolving, award-winning Digital Business, currently seeking multiple IOS Engineers to form their brand-new Cardiff team. This role will work alongside other Mobile Engineers within a new cross-functional team, you will be encouraged to make necessary decisions for the platform and provide your insight on different projects, and keep a focus on accessibility and writing maintainable code.
As an IOS Engineer here, you can expect to be reviewing and shipping new code from the start. You’ll work on a Mobile App with millions of customers, so we are seeking someone who cares about the design, product, and user experience.
As a company that highly values employing the right attitudes and hiring only ambitious characters for strong culture – background experience is second to this on their priorities. The following experience is very helpful to be successful in this role:
Experience required:
- 2+ Years within a similar role
- Experience producing well tested code
- As the application is built with UIKit – knowledge of this is essential
- Knowledge/experience with reactive programming is very beneficial, but is not required, as they use RxSwift
They use built in-house tools and frameworks and also some more well-known tools such as RxSwift, Realm, Sourcery, SnapKit, SwiftLint, Danger.. etc.
Applicants must ideally bw within commutable distance of Cardiff for regular visits... They have many positions available across all skill levels so even if you feel you don’t meet every single requirement but are interested to learn more, they may still be open to considering the application. (They also have office in London and Southampton including Cardiff, is these areas are closer to commute to, though the focus is on building their Cardiff team)
