*4 DAY WORKING WEEK* - Monday to Thursday
IntaPeople are proud to be working with a leading manufacturer based in South Wales, on the lookout to expand their engineering team.
The successful candidate will collaborate with clients to comprehend their changing needs and will support the introduction of ongoing enhancements by modifying and slightly altering the designs of current goods and services.
In addition to the work required to maintain the design and manufacturing data and reference equipment, you will be concerned with the redesign, redevelopment, and engineering required to preserve an equipment's capabilities in accordance with the requirements at the performance level the customer expects.
Essential Criteria
- 3 – 5+ years’ experience in a design/manufacturing setting
- Have analytical techniques for addressing issues with a desire to provide goods that are unique
- Experience with CAD software packages
- Adaptable, action-oriented, solution-focused, and skilled at motivating the team to perform at its peak
- Engineering degree or equivalent (BSc or equivalent)
- Able to hold a UK security clearance
- Hold a valid UK driving license
Advantageous Criteria
- Experience in a regulated industry, such as defence, medical, automotive, etc
- Autodesk Inventor user experience
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng)
- Knowledge of a variety of engineering design methodologies, including waterfall/V-cycle and agile etc.
