Workshop Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Workshop Engineer to join our client’s small but busy engineering team in the Ross-on-Wye area. 

The ideal candidate:

• Will be experienced in welding & fabrication
• Have good mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Will ideally have electrical engineering experience (advantageous)
• Have one of (IPAF), forklift licence, working at height, (training will be provided)

In addition to hands-on engineering, the Senior Workshop Engineer would be responsible for:

• Scheduling and prioritising work through the factory and allocating it to team members.
• Maintenance of plant & working environment
• Health & safety
• Stock control
• Process development
• Team training.
