IntaPeople are helping scale up a development team with a Web Engineering Lead due to growth and progression within the tribe. This role is split 50/50 between hands on development and managerial duties
Although the head office is in Cardiff, you will have a choice between being office-based, fully remote or a hybrid approach. We can only consider applications from those based in the UK.

About the role..
- You will support, coach and mentor the development team and create development plans for their CPD as well as instil Agile principles. This includes 121s, code reviews, performance reviews…
- Strong communication skills are required as you will be liaising with stakeholders of all levels
- You will identify, teach or sponsor the required software and hardware engineering skills needed to support the development of high-quality code, components, systems, and solutions
About the Skills and Experience required:
- Experience with CMS (Wordpress, Drupal ect)
- CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Drone etc)
- Any experience in Docker, Kubernetes, TDD or serverless would be highly desirable
- An Agile background with experience in the use of tools such as Jira, Confluence etc
- Previous experience of mentoring or managing teams
