Web Developer – Kidderminster - Up to 35k DOE
We are helping to grow a well-established company who offer a range of solutions including IT implementation, ERP systems, ecommerce and support for business software.
About you…
We’re looking for a passionate and focused developer who is keen to learn plenty of new things. Ideally, you’ll be coming from a similar type of role and In terms of technical skills we’re looking for someone with experience of-
* PHP
* HTML, including CSS (LESS/SCSS) with Bootstrap
* JavaScript
* Photoshop (or equivalent photo and design software)
* eCommerce
* Git Version Control
Predominantly we are looking for someone with strong experience in front end development and keen to learn Magento2 (it is not essential to already have this though if you are strong in PHP and front-end website design).
We are looking for a passionate and focused individual who has the technical ability and previous experience in the entire web project lifecycle; from initial scope and web design to creating technical specifications, development, customer guidance and updates.
What you’ll be doing…
As a Web Developer you’ll be joining an exciting team in one of the fastest growing areas of the business, so you’ll need to be forward thinking, a strong problem-solver and be up for a challenge.
You will be responsible for the development and support of a diverse range of eCommerce projects, working closely with the team and Project Leaders to complete eCommerce integrations, website refreshes, brand new customer eCommerce projects as well as developing and maintaining eCommerce platforms.
Something like this will be varied but in terms of day to day you’ll be -
* Participating in the entire website project lifecycle, focusing on design and development
* Providing regular feedback and updates on the progress of current projects
* Offering guidance to customers throughout the project lifecycle
* Developing and enhancing eCommerce platforms
* Providing consultation to gather and create technical specifications for new functionality
* Writing clean code to create outstanding web applications
