I am proud to bring to market this brand-new hands-on role for a Warehouse Manager. Within this role you will carry out various duties and responsibilities playing a key role within the business. Reporting directly to the Operations Director your role will be to manage and support all activities concerning the movement of goods in and out of site. This post would suit an experienced Supervisor wanting to take that next step in to a management position.
As Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for
- Internal order picking
- Sales order picking
- Packaging & crating goods for dispatch for both internal and external customers
- Accurately recording of all goods dispatched
- Accurate recording of all items picked using both the card system and updating these
records into the SAGE stores system
- Organising delivery & collection of parts from & to suppliers
- Movement of goods around the factory
- Loading & unloading of trucks
- Assisting the stores team with consignment and marshalling of goods in preparation for dispatch
- Preparation of paperwork for goods leaving the premises
- Assisting with container loading
- Maintaining forklift truck daily check sheets
What you’ll bring to the role
- Minimum of 2 years in a store’s supervision or stores management position
- Ability to multi-task within a team and alone
- Good command of written and spoken English language
- Experience using SAGE or similar stores software
- Forklift licence holder essential. (Refresher course can be arranged)
