Test Automation Engineer (with DevOps)
IntaPeople are proud to be working with a world leader in satellite communications technology that are massively expanding its presence in the UK. Due to the growth projected we have a number of QA and DevOps related positions available.
This position offers the opportunity to join a large, fast growing Software Engineering team, within the Space Systems design industry. The company are developing the next generation of satellite modems targeted at applications both in the satellite payload and in ground systems including cloud-based hubs and gateways.
Essential:
- Module/Application Test frameworks similar to Behave/Cucumber/Selenium
- Build tools: Make/Ant/Gradle/Maven/Jenkins etc
- Unit Test Frameworks similar to Junit, GoogleTest, CPPUTest, CPPUnit.
- Jira or relatable tools like Redmine
- Version control: GitLab, Bitbucket etc
- Build tools such as Make/Ant/Gradle/Maven/Jenkins etc
- Configuration Management and Build/Version Management
- Linux and Network Systems Management
Working within a full software development life cycle team you’ll support the wider engineering team to problem solve and support complex solutions whilst implementing and maintain processes and client expectations. Being a senior Automation Engineering you’ll be tasked with Version Control, Build Management and Test control.
You will be interacting with extremely professional teams from different backgrounds and enjoy a dynamic, fascinating and enriching work environment. The company has a number of locations across the UK so whether you are based near Manchester or Reading/Farnborough you can decide what location suits you best.
