Test Analyst – Swansea
We are helping to grow the team for a Financial Services company based near Swansea and looking for a Test Analyst with good automation exposure.
About you…
You will be engaging with people from right the way across the business including technical and non-technical teams, so good communication skills are a must.
We are looking for someone who experience of automation (using Selenium or UFT ) and language wise is pretty varied, any experience of using C#, C++, Java or Python would be great.
The right person will have the ability to interpret highly technical test results to identify patterns and trends and translate into test reports.
Aside from this, we are looking for someone with –
* ISEB /ISTQB
* Experience of System and Acceptance Testing in a highly regulated industry
* Practical use of Automation and Performance Test methodologies and tools
* An understanding of software development principles
* Experience in an Agile environment
What you’ll be doing…
The main function of the role will be to develop and execute test plans and scripts from defined business processes as well as functional and business requirements. You’ll also support non-functional testing including performance and automation testing.
Though responsibilities will be really varied for this role, they will include -
* Reporting testing progress and delivering within the agreed deadlines
* Creating and executing test scripts
* Executing performance and automation test scripts
* Configure Test and Live systems based on Business Requirements
* Carry out testing to agreed Time, Quality and Cost criteria as required by the business
* Work with clients, project and senior managers to implement and deliver projects and BAU test strategies
