Technical Data Analyst - fully remote - outside IR35

IntaPeople are looking for a Technical Data Analyst to join a medical supply client on an initial 6 month basis outside IR35. The purpose of the role is to understand, analyse, troubleshoot, support, and maintain existing and new data queries, extracts, transformation, and load for a major ERP project move from Microsoft Dynamics Navision (Nav) to SAP ECC.

Responsibilities: 

• To develop data extract, transformation and load (ETL) solutions, primarily working with technical and business users and occasionally third-party partners, meeting the company’s processes
• To assist with troubleshooting existing data integrations as well as providing day-to-day assistance to the IT team by managing ad-hoc data requests for bulk data updates agreed with the business teams
• To collaborate with project team members for the data elements including integrations and data migrations agreeing appropriate timescales and delivering accordingly
• To collaborate with IT team members to agree and deliver specifications for solutions

Requirements:

• Must have substantial experience of working with SQL, ideally Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Excel functions and data analysis/power pivot
• Significant experience in software development within a .Net environment
• Ideally have experience of some of the following technologies: HTML, Web Services (REST, SOAP), ERP Systems (Nav, SAP ECC), Jira and Confluence, Git
• Experience delivering ETL from specification to development, test, release, and accompanying support
• Experience of requirements gathering and documentation
• Commercial experience of system support and problem solving
