Contract Sourcing & Procurement Specialist
11 month contract, Start Date ASAP
£450 p/d (inside IR35)
Hybrid working model - Cardiff or Netherlands office 2 days per week.
Job description
A world leading company in the Cardiff area currently require a Sourcing and Vendor Manager to join their team on an initial 11-month contract, with potential to be extended. On offer is a highly competitive rate (inside IR35).
As a Sourcing and Procurement Manager you will be responsible for sourcing of goods, procurement of data services and negotiating IT contracts with 3rd parties as well as the ongoing management of vendor relationships and contracts.
Main skills and experience needed:
- Experience in sourcing for a globally operated business and has a solid understanding of how to mitigate the risks of inter-country sourcing but also how to leverage the opportunities this presents.
- Experienced in full sourcing lifecycle – from supporting requirements gathering, through tendering, negotiation and contracting – with strong ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders through the process.
- Demonstrated ability to pick up and run, independently, with a sourcing initiative leading to savings and value for the business
Experience:
- Extensive experience of sourcing and vendor management, ideally within IT Services
- Strong experience sourcing and managing providers
- Proven experience managing contracts (including policies, performance, risk etc.)
- Good knowledge of the IT industry
- Excellent negotiation skills
