Our client is known for its commitment to excellence and innovation in the field. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Production Operative to join their ever-growing team.
As a Skilled Soldering Operative, you will be a vital member of our production team, responsible for the precise and efficient assembly of LED reading lights. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented individual with expertise in fine detail hand soldering, particularly in surface mount techniques.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting fine detail hand soldering, with a focus on surface mount techniques
- Operating and maintaining pick and place machines (preferable)
- Demonstrating knowledge of IPC-160 Soldering Standards (preferable)
- Conducting basic electrical testing to ensure product functionality
- Assembling LED reading lights with precision and attention to detail
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
- Meeting production timescales and quality standards
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure efficient teamwork
