Support Specialist
A leading supplier of solutions to the media industry is seeking a Support Specialist to assist in ensuring complete client satisfaction - effectively managing client relationships and resolving technical issues.
This role will be essential for the smooth running of the business, providing a valuable service to end-users and having the emotional intelligence to understand the customer’s needs, as well as the technical know-how to troubleshoot and solve problems - you will deal with around 10 tickets a week, escalating to developers if required.
Good communication is vital to effectively communicate with customers and provide a swift resolution. As a Support Specialist you will need to be able to juggle multiple priorities, manage your own workload, and keep track of customer interactions. Attention to detail and the ability to think logically and critically are also important for ensuring any issue is resolved quickly and accurately.
Finally, the ability to stay calm under pressure is key and the support specialist must stay composed when dealing with difficult situations.
Experience required:
- 2+ years experience supporting end users
- Industry standard ticketing systems e.g., Jira
- Knowledge of Windows OS, software applications & interest/knowledge of MS Access / SQL / HTML
- Knowledge of database analysis tools & working knowledge of SQL would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
