Software Engineer – Java
Cardiff – Hybrid
Up to £55,000 depending on experience
Intapeople are working with a successful South Wales company, with a global presence, who are looking for a Java developer to upscale the engineering team. This company have an excellent benefits package and progression opportunities. You will be able to work in a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office to ensure you can collaborate successfully with other like-minded engineers to develop and maintain effective, clean code. The role may involve some travel opportunities so applicants must hold a valid passport.
You will:
- Be a technically minded problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Be flexible and adaptable open to supporting multiple projects.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Have some understanding of cryptography and security certification.
- Demonstrate understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, including obtaining software requirements, systems analysis and design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and documentation.
- Have excellent debugging skills and understanding of Java applications.
Experience required:
- At least 3 years experience in Software Engineering role
- Degree in computer science or relevant subject
- Java
- REST APIs
- Experience with RFID technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivating
