Job description

Are you a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer with deep expertise in Azure? We’re partnering with a leading organisation on a high-profile cloud transformation project and are seeking an exceptional professional to join their UK team.

This is a contract role starting 12 January 2026 and running until the end of the year, with strong potential for extension. You’ll be working 37.5 hours per week.

What’s in it for you?

  • Be at the forefront of a major cloud migration project, moving complex systems into scalable, modern infrastructure.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping cloud reliability, automation, and performance for a mission-critical environment.
  • Collaborate with international teams while leading UK delivery.
  • Work with cutting-edge tools and practices, including Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong background in Azure cloud-native services (AKS/EKS).
  • Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Ability to apply a software engineering mindset to infrastructure management.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SRE, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline.

You are someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, bridging the gap between development and operations, and ensuring systems run seamlessly at scale. You’ll bring not only technical expertise but also the ability to document, train, and transfer knowledge to existing teams, leaving a lasting impact.
