IntaPeople is working with an FTSE100 client who is seeking a UX/UI Designer to work on an initial 3-month contract. Joining a team that is starting to develop machine-learning-based tools to make the publication process more efficient. A new concept (with few competitors), this is a very exciting new project to join. There was an initial concept stage, now working on the concept ideas, looking at what has been done, working on MVP for the project, and delivering the final frame. Also, possibility to do some user research.
You will lead the design work on this liaising with stakeholders, understanding current workflows, partnering with technologists and data scientists, developing user journeys, designs, and prototypes, carrying out user testing, and delivering final designs.
You will need to demonstrate experience, not just with consumer products but in academic research or health industry – anything that has more complex user needs; working with complex projects.
To apply for the UX/UI Designer you will have the following experience:
- Wide skills set - UX/UI, research, and accessibility
- The balance between UX (also including research and accessibility skills) and UI (60%/40%)
- Strategic thinking about the design process and the ability to explain it to stakeholders without experience of design
- FIGMA IS THE MUST HAVE (they use Miro a lot as well); Confluence and Jira
This role will suit those with experience with complex interfaces, experience with internal tools, and those interested in working with new technology machine learning and AI and with data scientist
Deemed inside IR35, you will be required to work through an FCSA approved UK-based umbrella company.
