About the role:
- The office is in Cardiff city centre, with 2 days in the office per week.
- Joining a small team of 3 engineers and a wider team of QA and Data Analysts/Engineers, you will be an integral part of the squad and as they grow; you will have lots of opportunity to progress.
- They have a strong L&D culture, they give you the budget and the time to learn new skills.
- Although they are a small team right now, they don’t have the same financial risks as other start ups as they are part of a multi-national company. Their sister company started off in a similar way and they have now grown to 60+ in the tech team; the plan is to scale this company in the same way.
About the experience required:
- This is a hands on development role so the day to day role will involve building REST APIs, Web services and API development
- The main requirements is experience with React, Express and Node.
- They have a cloud based microservice based architecture
- We’re ideally looking for AWS and Serverless experience, but open to Azure or GCP.
- The team works in a DevOps environment, containerizing, deploying, scaling application and micro services using CI/CD pipeline
