Senior Product Owner
80k plus a bonus of up to 20% (£96,000 package)
IntaPeople are partnered with a fintech scaleup in Cardiff city centre and are scaling up the Product team with a Senior Product Owner
About the role:
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner to work on greenfield projects within the lending industry. This will be the 6th member of the product team
- You'll shape the direction of your product area, make the tough prioritisation and trade-off decisions, and confidently engage stakeholders across delivery, architecture, and senior leadership to drive successful outcomes.
- Define and drive the strategic use of AI, automation, and data-driven solutions across your product area to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, process performance, and user experience.
About you:
- A background within a highly regulated industry is essential, preferably within financial services/lending. You will have a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale products or initiatives, coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve successful business outcomes.
- Strong decision-making and prioritisation skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing demands, and make informed trade-offs that deliver value.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of building alignment and driving progress across senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and clients.
- Extensive experience leading product backlogs, discovery activities, and requirements management within Agile environments, using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Experience working with complex SaaS, multi-tenant, or highly configurable products that serve diverse customers, markets, or operational needs.
- A proactive and self-driven approach, comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and ownership in a fast-paced environment.
About the role:
- Hybrid – 3 days per week in the Cardiff office
- Salary – Up to £80,000
- Bonus – up to 20%
- Package – Up to £96,600
