IT Technician

A community based not-for-profit company in South Wales, are seeking a new IT Technician to assist the Senior IT Technician in providing IT services and ensuring the business’s strategy/IT systems/services are maintained and up to date.

You'll manage and provide responsive IT Service Desk and technical 1st/2nd line support, you will maintain and support equipment and software, and assist in the development of the Association’s server, storage, databases, applications, telephony, network infrastructure and systems.

This position will be the first point of contact for IT Service Desk, responsible for providing support for all IT for the colleagues and offices, so we are looking for a technical mind with strong communication and relationship building capabilities.


Experience Required

  • Knowledge of IT networks, Microsoft Office & Windows (10 or greater)
  • Installing/upgrading/maintaining Microsoft Windows
  • Experience of systems administration functions
  • Knowledge of Active directory and Cloud-based technologies
  • Knowledge of Mobile Device Management software, IOS & Android mobile operating system platforms
  • Ability to drive and access to a car and open to carry out occasional work on evenings/weekends
