Looking for a full stack engineer role where you will have ongoing L&D opportunities as well as a structured roadmap in terms of progression?

IntaPeople are delighted to be partnered with a fintech to scale up the professional services team as they embark on a huge global acquisition. 

Based in the heart of Cardiff, they are a thriving fintech creating asset management and equipment finance software for a range of multinational clients; their software is well proven all over Europe.

About the role…

  • As a senior engineer, you will be working closely with multi-disciplined teams in order to deliver world class software for the company’s partners and clients.
  • Working within an Agile environment you will be expected to contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, integration, testing and maintenance.
  • You will be working with an existing tech stack consisting of cloud-based Java web applications interfacing with an Oracle (PL/SQL) based system.
  • You may come from a PL/SQL background, and have some development experience in Java; or have been working in Java and done some development in PL/SQL. Working across these 2 key technologies is vital to us, and we would love to hear from you and understand your experience. More broadly you will take an agnostic attitude to the choice of technology for future work.
  • Within the team you will be required to be proactive in your approach, working to drive improvement in development practices and technology, offering help and advice around coding techniques, and helping to maintain the quality code and scalability.
