They are looking to expand their team with an experienced and ambitious Senior Embedded Software Engineer working out of their Cardiff offices on a hybrid basis.
I am looking to speak with motivated, driven and experienced Embedded Software Engineers to join the companies growing engineering team, you will have a passion for technology and a strong background in developing and optimising software for embedded systems.
About the role…
- You will collaborate with cross functional teams such as the systems and electronics engineering teams to ensure a strong delivery of software design is delivered.
- You will take software requirements for a complete subsystem and design and build software to meet the requirements.
- You will support design and build C/C++ software whether that be on ground station equipment.
- You will mentor members of the team as a Senior ensuring to share your experience and knowledge to develop others.
- You will write documentation that covers the architecture, APIs, design and implementation.
About you…
- You will have experience developing in C/C++ for embedded real time operating systems (RTOS).
- You will have knowledge of Agile and Waterfall working practices.
- You will be a strong communicator with an ambition to learn and build on your knowledge.
- You will have experience working across the full software lifetime development cycle.
