We are looking for an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to take a leading role in the design and development of advanced electronic systems. This position offers the chance to work across the full engineering lifecycle and contribute to complex, high‑reliability programmes. Initial 6 month contract, outside IR35.
While many of our projects support defence applications, we welcome candidates with relevant experience from other safety‑critical or high‑integrity industries.
In this position, you will be responsible for shaping hardware solutions from early requirements through to delivery, ensuring technical alignment across customer expectations, project goals, and internal engineering teams. You’ll collaborate closely with specialists across multiple electronic design domains, including:
Analogue circuit design
Digital electronics
FPGA and ASIC development
PCB layout and routing
Signal integrity assessment
You will also support adherence to rigorous engineering processes and industry guidelines, including those similar to DO‑254.
Ideal candidates will bring solid engineering expertise and familiarity across several of the following areas:
Developing system‑level concepts based on customer or project requirements
Applying structured methodologies suitable for high‑reliability electronic design
Acting as a technical interface between customer, project, and engineering teams
Working across a range of electronic design disciplines
