IntaPeople are looking for a Quality Engineer to join my clients growing team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be expected to carry out high-quality engineering tasks to assist the organization's medical device designs and manufacturing processes in a safe, effective, and compliant manner.
We're seeking candidates with a minimum of one year in quality-related fields, preferably in Medical Device design or regulated environments. Key skills include interpreting technical standards, strong communication (both written and verbal), and experience with statistical techniques, risk management, and problem-solving tools.
Responsibilities include ensuring efficient and compliant medical device designs by executing quality planning, design control, process control, and verification/validation procedures. You'll review and approve product/process documentation, apply statistical analysis to data, and support the resolution of technical issues. Additionally, you'll evaluate supplier quality, coordinate corrective actions, and improve supplier communication to enhance product and service quality.
Education/Qualifications
HND equivalent in engineering, science or technology discipline
Lead Auditor qualification in a regulated industry (ISO 9001/13485 preferred) or proven history of conducting audits.
