Purchase Ledger – 3 months fixed-term contract
Due to significant growth, a multi-award-winning technology company are seeking a seasoned Purchase Ledger to help the team fight through a backlog in a 3-month temporary position.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the Sales Ledger - raising sales invoices in their Business Management Software, processing accounting transactions to ensure company books/records are complete/accurate. We are seeking someone who is comfortable interacting both within the company and if need be, with banks, suppliers, and customers… Someone who is experienced making payments to suppliers, maintaining the purchase ledgers, ensuring that VAT is correctly coded and accounted for, and assisting with payroll process and cash management.
Experience required:
- Around 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of SAGE 200, and Autotask
- Must be numerate and enjoy working with numbers
- Experience of working with one or more computerised accounting packages
- Must be IT literate with a working knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
