Are you a looking to take your first steps in science? Well we are currently looking for a Production Technician for a client based in Oxfordshire. This role would be perfect for an entry level candidate or someone with experience in a production/manufacturing environment looking for career progression further down the line.
The ideal candidate will use a variety of production machinery to create biomaterials. In accordance with the ISO 13485 Quality Management System, you would operate in class 7 cleanrooms while adhering to SOPs and maintaining precise records of all work completed.
Responsibilities:
- Using specialised machinery for production runs, post processing, and general cleanroom preparation and checks, working independently to carry out the production of tissue-regenerating medical device components under the direction of a supervisor.
- Become proficient in all methods of process setup.
- Conduct product testing to get performance data.
- Assist in the commissioning of new machinery. ensuring that all used equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated before use.
- Keep track of equipment usage and routine maintenance, and help create batch paperwork for produced goods.
Desired (but not essential):
- Previous job experience in a laboratory setting.
- Experience using laboratory and/or industrial equipment.
- Prior experience working in a controlled setting.
- Worked in a manufacturing or production setting.
