IntaPeople are proud to be partnered with a fast growth technology client who have recently secured one of the largest investment rounds to date in Wales. Due to this growth and a re-structure within the business they now require an Product Owner to join their projects team.
We are looking for a product owner to help support the Agile development lifecycle within their product team whilst also supporting internal and external development teams. You will report directly to the Head of Product whilst working closely with other product members to identify, define and prioritise features because on the stakeholders needs and requests.
Responsibilities at a glance:
- Support and introduce new product releases and features
- Gather client and user feedback via other areas of the business
- Work closely with the Head of Product to identify, define and prioritise features
- Work closely with the software development team and stakeholders to bridge the gap
- Be a voice within the daily/weekly/monthly SCRUM ceremonies and stand-ups
- Create User stories
- Identify and report on progress and blockers within the team
Essential skills/experience:
- At least 2 year’s experience working with a similar role or with transferable skills
- Experience working within a Software or Technology focussed product environment
- Experience working in a project and/or cross functional team
- Experience working within a Product team and user stories
- Experience working within an AGILE/SCRUM environment
- Stakeholder and client management
- Software or Technology background – IT related degree or similar
As an accountable Product Owner, the key focus will be ensuring execution of designs and delivering against the clients product roadmap in alignment with the evolving needs of their niche industry. As an individual you will have the ability to look outward to understand customer needs, and inward to ensure the team have everything they need to meet them. You will help the team understand the needs of our customers and users and have the capability to grasp the challenges and technology required for success in the team
