Overview
A thriving innovative South Wales technology company serving global clients entered a growth phase and now requires a Platform Engineer to join its team. This role involves working with the Platform Manager to resolve development and testing issues, support development teams, and manage CI/CD processes.
Location
Based in South Wales, we have flexible and remote working options.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate and maintain configuration and deployment systems
- Scale and support critical production systems
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Support AWS infrastructure for R&D and production
- Collaborate with Engineering on best practices and new technologies
Essential Skills
- 2+ years with AWS (EC2, Load Balancers, Security Groups, VPNs, VPC, S3, SQS/SNS)
- Proficiency in Windows and basic Linux services
- Understanding of CI/CD best practices
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes operations, Azure DevOps Pipelines or SQL engines, particularly Microsoft
