This is a business that takes huge pride in what they do and due to continuous growth, they currently require an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
Ideally you will have knowledge of the UPVC windows and doors Industry however this is not essential as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
As Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will deliver electrical and mechanical support to the operations covering engineering functions daily. This is a role offering fantastic working hours of 7am until 4pm Monday – Thursday and 7am until 1pm Friday.
As Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will required to
- Complete all routine maintenance, in line with the agreed site plan.
- Repair maintenance of the plant and its equipment, to ensure faults are identified quickly and production downtime is minimised.
- Accurate recording of all work undertaken for compliance and audit purposes
- Ensuring all duties are undertaken in line with current health & safety legislation.
- Managing stocks of critical engineering spares and equipment
- Provide support to other business functions.
- Resolve day to day maintenance issues in an effective and timely manner
- Engineering analytical skills and Fault finding.
- Participate proactively in team working and communication
- Project management
- Absorb complex systems knowledge
Skills, experience, and qualifications required
- You will present demonstrable experience as a multi skilled engineer with good electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Experience with reactive maintenance
- Conversant with three phase equipment, inverters sensors and control panel fault finding
- Conversant with PLC control systems
- Experience of pneumatics, pumps and valves
- Ability to learn and demonstrate the execution of new skills when given appropriate training.
- Knowledge of Engineering drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams
- Appreciation of planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Ability to safely work at heights from MEWPS and fixed platforms.
- Confident use of common power tools, professional and hand tools
- Accurately interpret manuals and drawings to deliver working capability (mechanics, electrics, pneumatics, hydraulics)
