Intapeople are teamed up with a rapidly evolving, award-winning Digital Business, currently seeking multiple Android Engineers to form their brand-new Cardiff team. This role will work alongside QA Engineers and other Mobile Engineers within a new cross-functional team, you will be encouraged to make necessary decisions for the platform and provide your insight on different projects, and keep a focus on accessibility, writing maintainable code, and helping improve/develop their Android app.
As a Mobile Engineer here, you can expect to be reviewing and shipping new code from the start whilst working with the latest technologies. You’ll work on a Mobile App with millions of customers, so we are seeking someone who cares about the design, product, and user experience.
As a company that highly values employing the right attitudes and hiring only ambitious characters for strong culture – background experience is second to this on their priorities. Though a couple years’ experience in a similar role is highly advantageous. Testing experience is also advantageous for this position to ensure high quality code is delivered, tools they use in particularly include Espresso and Junit, plus manual testing of all features.
Applicants must ideally bw within commutable distance of Cardiff for regular visits... They have many positions available across all skill levels so even if you feel you don’t meet every single requirement but are interested to learn more, they may still be open to considering the application. (They also have office in London and Southampton including Cardiff, is these areas are closer to commute to, though the focus is on building their Cardiff team)
