IntaPeople is working in partnership with a large manufacturing company who have a world-wide presence and require an experienced Mechanical/Electrical Inspector or Team Lead to join the skilled Engineering Craft team. We are looking for someone who has experience in performing both preventative and reactive maintenance in similar environments. Our client has recently invested heavily in their work processes to make them 'green' and are currently leading the way within their industry. 

You will monitor plant assets conditions to guarantee their availability and long. Foresee that all the activities needed to maintain equipment are being executed and with a high quality, doing focus on preventive and predictive maintenance.

Role responsibilities:

  • Participate in studies of interchangeability of and standardisation of equipment.
  • Establish standard work plans for repeated maintenance tasks and thus encourage a new standard
  • Review and analyse plant information
  • Participate in the development of daily, weekly or monthly schedules, based on priorities and the current production scenario to optimize the use of available resources
  • Provide support to Engineering and Production team with the preparation of the work plans to achieve the highest efficiency and quality of the maintenance groups
  • Carry out specific measurements with complex instruments such as data loggers, thermographic cameras, oscilloscopes, radioactivity meters, vibrations, flow meters, comparators, accelerometers, micrometres, laser aligners, etc.
  • Participate in the monitoring and analysis of critical variables of the assets from the predictive system and inspections

Skills and experience required:

  • Degree and/ or highly proactive and experienced Supervisor/ Team Leader
  • Strong mechanical/ electrical knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and tools associated with troubleshooting

  • Competitive salary of up to circa £40,000 (depending on experience)
