IntaPeople are once again please to be in partnership with a global manufacturer. We are looking for the ideal candidate who can design, develop and evaluate all things components and assemblies, from concept through to production.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and develop new models, whilst considering historic problems to eradicate them from future designs
- Apply technical experience and knowledge, with other areas of the R&D team to coordinate development issues
- Support other areas of the R&D team to meet deadlines
Skills & Experience
- Degree educated engineer with 3+ years experience
- Highly experienced in using 3D CAD software's, preferably CATIA V5 (but not necessary as training provided)
- Concept design & drafting and assembly design
- Product and component evaluation
- Knowledge of project management processes (desirable)
- High level problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of various quality system methodologies e.g., Lean, 5 Why’s, Six Sigma etc. (very desirable)
