A client in the Pembrokeshire area, currently require an Engineering Team Leader to come on board and be responsible for a team of maintenance technicians. As a part of the team, you will play a key role in the maintenance of machinery, equipment and general facilities.

This role is an all weather, physically demanding role where full training will be provided for the safety of yourself and others around you. This role will also require the ability to work at heights (up to 140ft/40m). 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning of scheduled maintenance tasks
  • To be actively involved in leading and completing the inspection of structures at height
  • Ensure completion of weekly and monthly structure inspections, including those at height
  • Engineering operation complies with the latest Health and Safety legislation, monitoring systems of work to ensure their safe operation
  • Ensure all records and documentation are up to date and completed as per company procedures and requirements
  • To be capable of being the team lead for the maintenance technician team

 

Requirements

  • UK Drivers' License
  • Confidence in working at height up to 140ft / 40m
  • Willingness to work outdoors

 

Hours of work: 

Off season (November to March) - Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 5pm (Every other Friday off)

In season - Any 5 out of 7 days (need to be flexible), 40 hours per week (if overtime is required, you will be given the time back in lieu), 7.30am - 5pm 

 

Training available: 

Working at height, Forklift Truck, Sling / Rigging, plus various health & safety courses
