Due to increased productivity, they currently require a team of Machine Operatives.
As Machine Operator your role will be to safely operate all wrapping machines.
Duties & responsibilities
- Must safely and competently operate wrapping machines across enrober, mallow and moulding departments.
- Accurately complete documentation associated with this role.
- Attend and be receptive to any training required for this role.
- Training will be provided to carry out basic maintenance.
- Routinely monitor the quality of the product exiting the machines.
- Diagnose and resolve operating problems as and when necessary.
- Set up and alter position of code on bagging machine.
- Operate and understand the main control panel.
- Clear blockages on weighing head.
- Understand the presentation of product to the machine.
- Calculate the machine running speed.
Previous experience within a similar role or environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Because of the changing nature of our business your job description will inevitably change. You will, from time to time, be required to vary from regular shift patterns and undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by management.
