About the role …
As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the architectural design and technical direction together with our departments
- Collaborating with stakeholders and technical leads to understand requirements and helping translate them into architectural designs
- Ensuring the quality, scalability, and performance of our software systems
- Guiding and mentoring teams, providing technical leadership and expertise
- Driving innovation and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
Essential experience and technology skills:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Software Architect, ideally in a lead role (not people leadership)
- Strong hands-on coding skills and expertise in Java and related technologies
- Experience with modern software development practices and methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus
