Due to growth and 2024 pipeline - a fintech creating software for multinational clients now require a Lead Application Support Engineer to drive process improvements and support the engineers in the day-to-day activities.
You’ll join a Cardiff based company with an exceptional reputation for investing in their employees, a strong learning culture with ongoing professional development. We’re seeking somebody with an analytical mindset, who will own the Application Support Function, act as an escalation point, drive down open tickets and ensure engineering tasks are complete, and issues are resolved within appropriate SLAs.
This person will help lead and drive a handful of engineers (1-2-1s, managing workloads, driving performance, appraisals) and investigate support requests from the customer base.
- Ideally 5 Years PL/SQL & application support background
- Experience driving improvements to company objectives, and team leading (ideally around team size of 5/6)
- Ability to analyse tickets to make priority decisions
- Excellent communication, with an analytical/logical approach
