The ideal skills mix for this role would be a mix of the following:
- Active Directory – Windows Server 2012/2019
- Azure Cloud Portal
- Office 2016 / Office 365
- Basic understanding of Networks – DNS / DHCP / TCPIP / Firewalls / MPLS / WiFI
- Good understanding of Mobile technologies
- Good understanding of Cloud based applications
- Computer Hardware understanding
- Good all-round knowledge of Computing
- Enthusiastic
- Keen to improve.
- Good personable attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Computing Degree / Microsoft Qualifications
Your responsibilities will include:
- Organise, install, configure and maintain hardware, software and networks
- Ensure system security by configuring firewalls and antiviruses software
- Provide technical support to users and solve problems
- Respond to hardware and software break/fix service calls and ensure equipment/issues are fixed within the timeframes of the Service Level Agreement.
- Escalate incidents to next level support when the solution is unknown or cannot be solved within the defined timeframes.
- Ensuring regular communication takes place between users and, where applicable, their line managers, of on-going service issues and ensuring that timely updates are provided.
- To ensure the provision of technical advice and guidance to all lines of business relating to IT hardware and software.
