With operations spanning Europe, our client in the Financial Services Industry offer bespoke solutions for major financial companies.
Running the end user landscape – this role will initially lead the IT End User Services function, then follow on taking leadership of the Infrastructure function; holding responsibility for all end user & infrastructure matters.
You’ll be a strong, adaptable leader, with the emotional maturity and organisational skills to handle pressure and a complex, varied workload. You’ll be part of their journey to transform the environment through the use of cloud technology - ideally, bringing knowledge of operating in a cloud environment that will enable you to assist with strategy.
Expect responsibilities to cover: virtual desktop management (including thin devices), ITSM & reporting, voice services, server virtualisation, azure services, storage & backup, network, server support, management of cybersecurity, equipment & budget, management of infrastructure and service desk teams.
Experience required:
- 5+ years Technical experience + people management
- Strong knowledge of end user computing & infrastructure
- Project management skills – budget & resource management
- Strong influential and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to other offices when required
