IT Infrastructure Architect - 6 months initially
Leading Law Firm in central London - remote until September then a staggered work / office working week.
£ Market Rate - dependant on experience - this contract has been deemed inside IR35
We are urgently seeking a versatile Windows focussed IT Infrastructure Architect to assist with a range of improvement solutions, security defences and critical incident support while a full time member of the team is seconded onto a specific project.
The IT in total is around 90 and you'll join 2 other IT Architects in this team.
If you have a particular focus on Windows Azure and VMWare this would be an advantage.
The ideal skills for this role will include a mix of:
Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions.
Excellent problem-solving ability including leading multi-disciplinary teams to identify, research and coordinate resource to diagnose
& troubleshoot complex issues.
Knowledge of client-server networking and database management
Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction and provide technical specification recommendations.
Experience planning and developing support processes and adhering to best practices
Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences at
Be able to work with 3rd parties to manage on premise and cloud services.
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
Potentially serve in a project manager capacity for simple/medium complexity integration projects and understand project
methodologies Agile and Prince2
Experienced in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, procedures, and roles.
Experienced and Accredited in TOGAF, experienced and ideally accredited in CISSP, CCSP
