As the new IT security Lead within this innovative organisation, you will enter a continuous learning and growth platform... Under the guidance of the Information Technology Director, you'll be responsible for all aspects of the group's IT security, including desktop, mobile, and network security. You'll engrain the best security practices within the organisation, deliver the organisation's Cyber Security Accreditations, e.g., Cyber Essentials, update software with the latest security patches and ensure the right defences are present for each network resource.
Further responsibilities can be expected to include; performing vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying and defending against threats... Analysing security requirements and recommending improvements,v monitoring network traffic for suspicious behaviour, plus providing support to the IT service desk and ticket management as an occasional escalation point.
Skills/experience we are interested in:
- 3+ Years/Mid-level experience in a similar IT security position
- Experience in the following technologies: Azure AD Hybrid, GPO’s, Intune, Cisco FW’s/Switches, Anti-malware/AV, MimeCast, O365 Security
- Experience delivering IT projects, initiatives, and service delivery
- Desirable: Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) / studying towards either
- Excellent communication
