Senior HR Advisor

£32,000 - £35,000 per annum plus excellent benefits

Are you looking for a role offering variety and the opportunity to add value across HR within a stable and growing business? This is a unique and hands on position where you will have the opportunity to make a huge impact. You will play an integral part in employee relations working at an operational level whilst driving business initiatives.

Supporting the HR Manager, you will take a lead role for HR responsibilities within your specific area. You will liaise with members of the wider HR team providing all round professional HR support.

As Senior HR Advisor you will be required to

  • Support and update the organisation on all employee relations matters
  • Monitor and control absence management
  • Proactive support on the delivery of the HR processes
  • Ensure that Managers and staff are aware of HR policies and procedures and able to operate them effectively
  • Provide support and guidance to Managers on HR and organisation development issues
  • Identify & drive continuous improvements within the Human Resource area
  • Manage the appraisals process
  • Manage the recruitment process – selection, offers of employment through to induction (including agency temps and consultants)
  • Manage the leavers’ process.
  • Manage the monthly KPI’s
  • Liaise with an Occupational Health Advisor for medical examinations and health screening, as part of a wellbeing programme
  • Conduct new employee inductions and onboarding
  • Support the sites Employee Engagement activities including monthly bulletin, employee recognition awards and events
  • Support the HR Manager in changes in terms and conditions of employment and benefits for individual employees

What you’ll bring to the role

  • CIPD or equivalent
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Strong employee relations and recruitment background
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise
  • Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent attention to detail
