Hardware Engineer - Remote

An experienced Hardware Engineer is required for a company with a global presence. The role is almost completely remote but travelling to the HQ in Cardiff will be required on an occasional basis but the office has very easy access from the M4.

Essential Design Skills:

• Embedded Linux Development (Multi-media Co-Processors, High-Speed DDR Interfacing)
• Power supply (low voltage DC-DC)
• Embedded microcontrollers (eg ARM, Microchip)
• Communication interfaces (eg I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, MIPI DSI)
• Low power operation
• Signal conditioning

Advantageous Experience:

• RFID
• Ethernet (including PoE)
• Antenna design
• Wireless interfaces (eg BLE, WiFi)
