Full Stack Engineer

IntaPeople are delighted to be partnered with a tech for good as they build their first application development team. We are looking for a mid-level  (up to 70k) and a senior engineer (up to 80k) to build their core platform

About the role:

• As the first 2 engineers in the team, you will build a greenfield flagship product as well as 2 existing web applications which are stable but need looking after.
• This is a remote role and we can only consider UK based applicants. 
• They have had funding for further digital transformations after that, so plenty more greenfield projects in the future too
• Day to day, you will build backend APIs in NestJS with a React frontend. NestJS is not essential, we are open to backend technologies including NodeJS and TypeScript.
• The cloud infrastructure is Azure based and moving to Kubernetes clusters (AzureKS)

About you:

• You’ll be an open engineer who wants to learn new things.
• You excel through working collaboratively with remote teams, both onshore and offshore.
• Being the first 2 engineers within the team, you will need to hit the road running in terms of proficiency.  As the company grows, there will be opportunities to scale and to grow the team to the point where there are enough engineers to coach and mentor juniors.

About the tech:

• React, NestJS, TypeScript
• Azure but cloud agnostic
• Bash, npm (f/e), Yarn (b/e), Azure CLI, Docker, Sonar, Helm, PowerShell
• SonarQube for pre-commit checks
