Job description

We are seeking an experienced EHS professional to provide support for a busy manufacturing environment for an initial 3 months. This is a hands-on role requiring strong knowledge of health and safety practices and the ability to drive compliance and safety culture across multiple units.

Initial 3 month contract

 

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Coordinate and complete approximately 100 risk assessments.
  • Create, track, and support production and warehouse teams in implementing control measures.
  • Conduct PUWER assessments on around 100 machines and equipment.
  • Manage and improve Safety Culture across two units, including responding to issues and managing actions.
  • Support incident investigations and ensure timely resolution.
  • Take control of outstanding safety actions (currently 283 open, target is around 20).

 

Requirements
 

  • Proven experience in an EHS role (Manager or Senior Officer level).
  • NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) essential.
  • Background in manufacturing, pharma, or oil & gas preferred.
  • Strong understanding of PUWER and general risk assessment processes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time (Bridgend).
