We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 12-month contract in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-impact project, contributing to the development of next-generation avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test embedded software for avionics applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in embedded software development.
- Valid security clearance is essential
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
- Strong knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
- Experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and hardware interfacing.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Desirable:
- Avionics experience is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to avionics software.
- Experience with safety-critical systems and DO-178C certification.
